Elise, owner and creator of Wild Mountain Child started as a local, handmade and fair trade shop in her home town. With a sole focus on nature play, connection, nature and nurturing a child's relationship with mother earth, Elise was determined to make as little negative impact on the environment as possible.

The selection of items by Wild Mountain Child are intended to sit alongside your child’s own learning and exploration of their unique natural environment, whether that be a pot plant on a balcony, a dandelion poking joyfully through a crack in the path or a muddy puddle in the backyard. The tools and resources here are those that in a child's hands can become whatever they need them to be.
